TRACING AGENCY –
how our tracing agency works

Has a customer disappeared and left behind unpaid debts and invoices? Have you tried to find them and come up empty handed? If so then this is where a Tracing Agency can really come into their own.

Our Tracing Agency works with businesses, solicitors & individuals who are trying to locate someone who has left without leaving contact details or their new address. The way we do this is through Tracing.

We have an expert team of tracing agents armed with the latest and most powerful technology to help them root out your missing debtor. Our success rate is high, in fact we find around 85% of missing debtors and begin the debt recovery process.

The length of time that it takes a tracing agency to carry out a trace varies from case to case, but in some instances we are able to locate the debtor within just a few hours when others have been hunting them out for weeks!

The more information you can provide a tracing agency the better; the following is a list of details that help us to carry out a trace, but do get in touch to speak to one of our team if you don’t have all the information to find out if we can still help! In a lot of instances we can.

    • Subjects full name
    • Date of Birth (if possible)
    • Last known address
    • Current or past employment details
    • Any other relevant information

We often have businesses approaching us who are at their wit’s end after a customer has disappeared without settling up their unpaid invoices. All is not lost however, so please get in touch!

TRACING AGENCY FAQ's –
Insights into tracing and the practices of tracing agencies

Q 1:

Can you trace an individual if we can’t provide you with a previous address?

A:

Yes, in certain instances a trace is possible even without a previous address. It does vary from case to case, but most people do leave a trail to follow and a tracing agency can generally pick up on that, especially if you can provide some other relevant information.

Q 2:

Can you guarantee to trace a missing person?

A:

No, not in all cases, but on average we trace the missing person in over 85% of the cases which we handle and then proceed with recovering your debt. Even the most evasive of missing people can usually be traced.

Q 3:

How much will tracing cost?

A:

We have a fixed fee of £60 + VAT for our tracing service. In a lot of cases it is possible to add this charge to the monies owed by the missing person, so you don’t have a lot to lose.

Q 4:

Can you trace the individual if they have changed their name?

A:

Yes but again it is dependent on the circumstances and other information provided, the more initial information you can provide on the individual the better our chances of tracing them and recovering the debt.

Q 5:

How much does debt recovery cost if we find the debtor?

A:

We do not have an upfront fee for debt recovery, we only charge when we successfully recover your debt. Details on debt recovery charges can be found on the debt recovery page. It is worth noting that the tracing agency fees can often be added to what they owe you.

FORMS OF PAYMENT

We offer an extensive range of payment methods making the payment of the outstanding debts as easy as the possible (for your debtors) thus removing any obstacles to you receiving outstanding monies.
