Our client, a long established estate agent sent over an instruction concerning an unpaid commission for the sale of a property. This wasn’t a straight forward case of unpaid commission, what actually happened was the debtor instructed our client to sell a property. Our client introduced a prospective purchaser the debtor then decided to take the property off the market.
Approx. one month later the debtor put the property back on the market with a different agent, the new agents went on to sell the property to the purchaser that our client had originally introduced. Our client’s contract had been broken and the debtor had been ill advised by the second estate agent.
Our client could not get payment from the debtor so instructed CPA, within one week we had collected the outstanding amount plus recovery costs.
