The Cash Protection Agency’s Credit Control Services are kept totally separate from our Debt Collection service to ensure that the relationship between your business and customer is maintained.

Terms of trading vary from client to client so we offer Credit Control solutionsthat are tailored to suit your needs and budget.

Initially your client will be contacted by telephone to ensure that all outstanding invoices are logged on to their accounts system, this will immediately reduce non payment due to missing invoices. Any other account queries will be identified at this stage and the appropriate action taken.

If a payment has not been received by the agreed date or within 5 working days of the initial telephone call a follow up letter will be sent.

Your clients will also be provided with their own dedicated telephone number to call which is not associated with The Cash Protection Agency therefore your clients will naturally assume that all calls to and from this line are from your internal administration team rather than a separate company.

All letters to your clients will be on your own headed notepaper and will be pre-authorised by you before we start the Credit Control process.

Additional letters and phone calls will be made over the next few weeks. If your client still hasn’t paid the overdue amount we will then seek your authority to send Interest Letters or Final Notices where necessary.

Invariably invoices become due on different dates dependent on your terms. Utilising the latest Credit Control software we diarise when each account needs chasing and ensure a timely follow up procedure.

If you want a Credit Control update on any outstanding invoice at any time simply call our dedicated Credit Control team.

For the small number of unresolved unpaid invoices our clients then have the option of transferring these cases to our Debt Collection service.

Our charges are based on the number of your clients we are collecting outstanding payments from rather than the actual amounts involved for collection.

For larger organisations our services offer genuine value for money when compared to the cost of employing the services of a full time Credit Controller.

For sole traders and smaller companies we provide a complete Credit Control service at realistic and competitive rates.

  • No, at all times we use our clients identity, dedicated telephone lines and we use our clients headed notepaper/compliment slips etc.

Will our clients still pay us?

  • Yes, all your client payments are made direct to you.

How much does it cost?

  • Our charges are worked out on your individual aged debtors list. We endeavor in all instances to be more economical than the employment costs of a credit controller.

What if our customers still don’t pay?

  • With your written permission we would transfer to our Debt Collection department.
